Desperation Conference exists to call students to treasure, glorify, and follow Jesus above all else. We aim to partner with the local churches in fostering an environment where students can encounter the presence of God, be saturated in the truth of His Word, and be commissioned in the call of His gospel.  

Desperation Conference is designed for students in Junior High (6th-8th grade), High School (9th-12th grade), and their youth leaders. Incoming 6th graders are welcome to attend, however, as leaders and parents, we encourage you to determine if your student can handle the length and intensity of the conference.

The Tuesday and Wednesday sessions end between 8:00 - 8:30p, and the late-night concert on Tuesday ends between 9:45 - 10:00p. The Thursday evening session will end between 8:45p - 9:15p. 

The registration fee covers admission to all main sessions of the Desperation Conference including all late-night events.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds after tickets have been purchased.  However, you are able to donate a ticket toward a scholarship for another  student instead.   

We recommend registering for Desperation as soon as possible. We have several pricing tiers (Pre-Registration, Early Bird, etc.) that increase as the year goes on. You will be saving significantly on the price of your registration by registering early as compared to waiting until you get to the door. 

If you’re unable to attend the full conference, day passes ($50) and single-session passes ($20) will be available. 

Meals are not included with your registration. However, there are several restaurants within walking distance, and a café will be available onsite offering a variety of snack items. 

No. We do not require groups to submit a list of students to purchase their tickets. 

Merch and the Café are open before and after sessions. Both will be closed during sessions to ensure students and leaders don’t miss the worship or message.    

While families are extremely important to us, Desperation Conference is for students. Kids Ministry will be not provided.   

Yes. If you are not able to attend in person, there will be a registration available for livestreaming the conference.  

Worship Response Prayer Experience is a place where you can be quiet with yourself and with God. Each prayer space has a prompt to help guide you in your time of prayer. 

When you arrive for the Desperation Conference you will go straight to registration in the main lobby and pick up your wristband.  Wristbands will give you access to sessions.  It is important to wear your wristband at all times.  If you lose your wristband, come to registration with your registration receipt that was e-mailed to you. 

To create a more equitable experience for all attendees, we’ve implemented a rotational seating system in the Worship Center. This means groups will rotate seating sections each day, giving everyone the opportunity for great views and engagement throughout the conference. As a result, reserved seating has been discontinued and all reserved seating purchases are being fully reimbursed. 

You can fly into the Colorado Springs airport (COS, approx. 30 min from New Life Church) or Denver International Airport (DEN, approx. 70 min from New Life Church). 

Unfortunately, due to the large number of groups that attend Desperation each year, we are not able to support groups arrange transportation
